FsM x ECPresents x Conscious Alliance

Just got done laying out the official Conscious Alliance 2008 poster for the Re:Creation events hosted by Euphonic Conceptions. The sales of these posters will benefit Conscious Alliance's "Art that Feeds" hunger relief program, and will be available starting next week right here in Boulder for their show on the 28th featuring Bonobo. The Conscious Alliance is a non-profit group that organizes food drives at arts & music events, and raises awareness of hunger issues worldwide. Freestyle Movement wholeheartedly supports humanitarian work; we are proud to aid hunger relief in any way we can. With the weather starting to get warmed up here, be on the look out for a few more designs hittin' the press very soon...

Hittin' the Studio Near You..

New beginnings take on whole new forms here at Freestyle Movement.. with all the new developments in motion graphics and sAne's VJ endeavors, we are scaling the media ladder faster than ever. Just recently we auditioned our first main character in the upcoming music video for "Feelin' that Shit" Parts I and II, a cinematic track by Pnuma and GiveMeBrain's very own Alex Botwin in collaboration with Jazz Extraordinaire Harold O'Neal. Check out the stills of our main man Dru posing in our new green screen studio as well as on set... We are just beginning filming now, stay tuned for the full release of FsM's first ever music video!!

Freestyle Movement x Root STRUCTURE Collaboration Hoodie!!!

We want to share some extra special preview of sAne & Akayate's first official Root Structure collaboration hoodie. This is quite possibly the coolest commissioned project I've ever participated in. Featuring an all-over print wallpaper by sAne, this one of a kind hoodie was put together by FsM/RootStructure's secret weapon Akayate. Her adeptness at custom-fitting and attention to detail really brought the final piece to another level. Featuring perfectly aligned plaid fabric, topstich and asymmetrical embroidery detail, and lined front pockets, interior, and hood... soo fresh!!!
While this piece is going to meet its owner very soon, we're working hard on other prototypes and set design elements with our performance crew GSP, and we're planning on launching the limited edition line very soon to hook all y'all up too, so keep posted with our progress here!!

GiveMeBrain: Music Production and Culture has a new Home!

My roomate Alex B (Pnuma Trio, GmB) has recently put up a new website where he will share his extensive knowledge on audio production. This site will feature his as well as other producers' insights of the vast world of mixing, sound design, and song building. While we're working the aesthetics of it right now, what already sets this page apart is Alex's connectedness with the underground electronic scene, and the network is growing larger by the moment. Alex produces a grip of sick beatsindependently as well as with his main project the Pnuma Trio. Although this is a whole other story to tell, having such a strong music influence in the house really turns on the creative flows, and the knowledge on GiveMeBrain.net has definitely helped me out on my ventures with Beat Making..
